     Kylie Miraldi

Hi my name is Kylie Miraldi and I am entering into my third year at San Jose State where I play volleyball and I am studying Nutrition with an emphasis in Dietetics. When I went off to college one of the highest priorities for me was getting involved in a church or Christian ministry where I would be surrounded by like-minded believers. FCA was just that for me. I first heard of FCA my freshman year in college. When I first arrived the huddle consisted of only a handful of us, but with a little persistence and hard work to make ourselves known the huddle started to grow. We now have a consistent group of around twenty-five Christian-athletes that show up each week providing fun and fellowship. It has been amazing to be part of FCA and see the impact it has had on my teammates, friends, and my own personal walk.  FCA has taught me how to use my sport for God’s glory and use my platform to share the gospel. My game has changed and I always have a purpose to play, even during the hardest seasons.

     Matt Faulkner

My name is Matt Faulkner and I will be a senior at San Jose State, where I play quarterback for our football team.  This past spring was my first semester at State and FCA was a huge part of helping me adjust to a new environment. FCA has had a great impact on helping me stay on the path God desires and become the man he created me to be.  The friends and relationships I have developed in one semester are an amazing blessing of God.  Every week I could feel God moving and working in my life through FCA as I gradually moved from a newcomer into the role of a huddle leader.  This summer will be an awesome time to grow and strengthen my relationship with the Lord along with my co-workers.  I am very excited, these are good times!

     Whitney Elliott

My name is Whitney Elliott and I am 22-years-old. I graduated from Biola University in the spring of 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies and a Minor in Biblical Studies. When I was a freshman at Prospect High School, my two older siblings and I started an FCA Huddle on our campus. I was on the swim team and the cheerleading squad, while I was a student at Prospect, and my relationship with Jesus was my top priority. FCA provided a new platform for my faith and challenged me to share Jesus with my teammates. It’s exciting to be a part of this ministry again and to be serving alongside my parents. I’m so blessed!
