Bryce was born and raised in Red Bluff, CA by her two parents Matt and Jill Etzler. She is the youngest of her two brothers Jesse and Maison. In May of 2018, she will be graduating Menlo College with a BA in Sports Management and a BS in Finance. Bryce has been a part of FCA since her senior year of high school, but when coming to Menlo College, there was no FCA. In 2016, she started FCA at Menlo and began pouring into other athletes. Athletics has been a huge part of her life, but when she began to realize softball was the most challenging, she began to pursue it for her future in college. Bryce received a near full ride scholarship to McNeese State in Lake Charles, LA right out of high school. Although Bryce thought her life was all figured out, God showed her different plans which led her back to California and closer to family. She says, “Being on the field is where I belong. It is where I feel like I can show Christ’s gifts the best through teamwork, sportsmanship, competition, integrity and humility.” Bryce is looking forward to the summer to grow in her faith and ministry skills. She hopes to continue with high school ministry after her internship and pursue a job in the sports industry after graduation.
