Les Steckel was a coach in the NFL for 23 years. "Coach" Steckel helped lead the Tennessee Titans to reach Super Bowl XXXIV. Following his NFL coaching career Coach Steckel went on to become the seventh President/CEO of FCA and served in this role from 2004-16. Under his leadership, FCA staff grew from 700 to over 1,400 staff around the nation. Ministry under his leadership also experienced tremendous growth from 5,500 FCA huddles to over 17,000 FCA huddles. FCA Camp ministry also increased its impact from 139 camp (27,954 attendance) to 740 camps (106,268 attendance) worldwide. FCA International ministry also flourished during his tenure with FCA, reaching 60 countries with 133 leaders.
He is the author of the book One Yard Short. A powerful memoir illustrating some of the life challenges, disappointments and defeats we will all experience at one time but how God gives us the power to overcome and experience true victory.
Every successful product is the fruit of hard work, and this applies to every field of business. Intuition alone is not enough to create a product that people will love and use. You also need to do your research, thinking, planning, differentiating yourself, and more. Write about some of the challenges you faced in designing this product and what steps you and your team took to overcome them.
